Job description

Job Summary
  • Position: General Surgery
  • Skills Required: Advanced Practice Provider
  • Duration: 148 days
  • Start Date: 08/05/2026
  • End Date: 12/31/2026
  • Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with possible rotating weekends
  • Care Setting: Inpatient surgical assist, no outpatient clinic
  • Position Type: Surgical Assist, General Surgery priority
  • Number of Shifts: Varies, average 90-110 cases per week
  • Shift Details: Cases may run past 5 PM, no call expected
  • Facility Overview: Assisting in OR on surgical cases only
  • Supporting Staff: Surgeon, scrub tech, circulating RN, CRNA

Key Requirements
  • Licensure: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Certifications: BLS required
  • Specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, Urology, ENT
  • Vaccination: Not specified
  • Experience: Relevant surgical assist experience preferred
  • Credentialing Timeline: Estimated 60 days
