Job Details
- Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - General Anesthesia
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina 29425
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $4,530 - $5,280
- Start Date: 9/7/2026 (ongoing)
- Duration: Ongoing with opportunity to extend
- Schedule: 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 13-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Setting: Academic medical center, trauma, and surgical environment
- Case Mix: General anesthesia, neuro and spine, orthopedics, oncology, ENT, gynecology, and urology
- Coverage: Some weekend coverage required; 13-hour shifts are guaranteed
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of CRNA experience required
- Active South Carolina CRNA license or license in process
- Current CRNA certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) required
- Strong clinical skills in general anesthesia and perioperative care
- Ability to adapt to multiple procedural areas and changing scheduling needs
- Experience in high-acuity surgical or trauma settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective anesthesia care in a medically directed practice model
- Provide coverage for a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures
- Support care across operating rooms and select non-operating room anesthesia settings
- Manage an average case volume of 3 to 5 cases per day
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the broader healthcare team
- Maintain accurate documentation and workflow in EPIC
- Help ensure smooth daily operations across a busy surgical services environment
