Clinical Role
Join a well-established urology practice in York, Pennsylvania, providing a combination of outpatient clinic coverage, hospital call, and operative urologic care. This ongoing locums opportunity offers flexible clinic and call assignments, access to robotic surgery, and the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Clinic hours:
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
One-hour lunch break
Coverage Requirements:
Full weeks of clinic and/or call coverage
Clinic coverage, call coverage, or a combination of both

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:
Outpatient clinic
Hospital
Patient Population:
Adults (18 years and older)
Occasional pediatric emergency testicular torsion cases while on call
Patient Volume:
Approximately 24-28 patients per clinic day
Combination of office visits and cystoscopy/stent procedures
Clinical Responsibilities:
Outpatient urology clinic
Hospital consultations
24-hour call coverage
General urologic procedures
Office-based procedures
Operative urologic care
Supervision of newly hired Advanced Practice Providers
Participation in robotic surgery if part of the provider's practice (not required)
Operating Rooms:
16 operating rooms across York Hospital and Apple Hill Surgery Center
Required Procedures:
Vasectomy
Cystoscopy
Prostate procedures
Ureteroscopy
Lithotripsy
Orchiopexy
Additional Procedures:
Robotic surgery - Available but not required
Vasectomy reversal - Preferred but not required
Penile plication
Penile implants (rare)
Circumcision (rare pediatric call support if needed)
Support & Technology
Support Staff:
Four Medical Assistants
One Clinical Services Associate
One Registered Nurse
Supervision of newly hired Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
Office Equipment:
Cystoscopes
Procedure towers
Injection equipment
EMR System:
Epic
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology - Required
Active Pennsylvania License - Required
OR
Active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Letter of Qualification (LOQ) - Accepted
DEA Registration - Required
Minimum one year of urology practice experience - Required
