Locums - Orthopedic Surgeon Red Bluff, CaliforniaAvailability
  • Coverage Type: 24/7 Emergency Department and Inpatient Call Coverage
  • Open Dates:
    • August 7-9, 2026
    • November 6-8, 2026
Licensure & Certifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery - Required
  • Active California License or IMLC - Required
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA-approved Orthopedic Surgery Residency - Required
  • DEA - Required for credentialing
  • California Fluoroscopy Certificate - Required
Required Experience
  • General Orthopedic Surgery
  • Comfortable providing:
    • Emergency Department orthopedic consultations
    • Inpatient consultations
    • General orthopedic trauma coverage
  • Experience managing a broad range of orthopedic conditions requiring hospital-based evaluation and treatment
  • Comfortable stabilizing higher-acuity patients prior to transfer when appropriate
Schedule
  • 24/7 call coverage
  • Emergency Department and inpatient consultation coverage
  • No clinic responsibilities noted

  • Community hospital
  • 72 licensed beds
  • Level III Trauma Center
  • Hospital-based orthopedic coverage
  • Full general orthopedic call
  • Higher-acuity cases transferred to a tertiary care facility as appropriate
  • OR support staff available
  • EMR: Cerner
