Orthopedic Total Joint Reconstruction Surgeon Opportunity Santa Fe, New Mexico
Full-Time Permanent

Practice Overview
  • Full-time Orthopedic Total Joint Reconstruction opportunity

  • Less-than-full-time schedule may be considered

  • Join a collaborative team of board-certified orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice providers

  • Practice in an Accredited Center of Excellence for Joint Health

  • Perform primary and revision total joint procedures using ROSA robotic technology

  • See approximately pre- and post-operative patients on clinic days

  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans, including preoperative, postoperative, rehabilitation, and patient education

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care

  • Epic EMR across all practice settings

  • Participate in monthly Total Joint Committee meetings

  • Light phone-only call shared among 18 providers with no hospital visits required

  • Dedicated 1:1 physician-to-APP support

  • Clinic and hospital campus are approximately 2.6 miles apart

  • Opportunity to teach Family Medicine residents during orthopedic rotations

  • Immediate patient volume supported by an established referral network throughout Northern New Mexico

Job Qualifications
  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery

  • Fellowship training or demonstrated expertise in Total Joint Reconstruction

  • New Mexico medical license or eligibility

  • Current unrestricted medical license

  • Two or more years of clinical experience preferred; exceptional new graduates encouraged to apply

  • Strong communication skills and commitment to team-based, patient-centered care
