This well-established medical center serves the greater Everett and Seattle communities, offering comprehensive gynecologic oncology and pelvic surgery services across two locations. The facility provides a collaborative and supportive clinical environment with both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring providers have access to advanced surgical resources including robotic surgery technology.

Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Obstetrics/Gynecology & Gynecology

Job Details:
  • Locum Tenens coverage for Gynecologic Oncology First Assist across two locations: Everett, WA (August through mid-November) and Seattle, WA at Swedish First Hill (mid-November through February 15, 2027)
  • Coverage is needed due to two overlapping PA provider maternity leaves
  • Inpatient and outpatient clinical hours only; no call required
  • Shift hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm with 10 guaranteed hours per day
  • Schedule consists of 4 shifts per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as operating days; Friday as clinic and admin day (Thursday off)
  • Minimum commitment of 4 weeks per month required
  • 6-12 patient encounters per shift
  • Must be experienced in gynecologic oncology and pelvic surgery, including standard GYN processes and procedures
  • First assisting experience is required
  • Experience with robotic surgery (Da Vinci Surgical System) is required
  • Pelvic exam experience is required
  • Open to Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with RN First Assisting Certification (RNFA)
  • Active Washington State license or IMLC required
  • Board certification required; DEA required
  • Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
  • Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
  • Clean files only - providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible
  • Lodging budget provided at $3,600 per month; accommodations should be located between Everett and Downtown Seattle

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
