Opportunity:Physician - Oncology, Internal Medicine - Hematology
Job Details:- Provide locum tenens coverage for oncology services, initially September 14-25, 2026, with potential for additional sporadic weeks as needed
- Monday through Thursday schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one hour lunch; overtime applies after 9-hour day
- Friday schedule: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (half days)
- No call required
- Approximately 14 patient encounters per day
- Ensure continued oncology access for patients while employed physician is away
- Board certification required; credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
- Preferred skills include management of bone marrow transplants, tumor board participation, and blood bank experience
- Preferred experience with management of VAD/CV catheters and FNA/biopsy procedures
- Preferred experience with intrathecal and intracavitary chemotherapy administration
- Nearest airport is Iron Mountain; lodging available per cap rate
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
