This position is based in Boston's South End, one of the city's most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods. The practice is also located in close proximity to Boston Medical Center (BMC).
In this role, you will deliver comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population, supported by a mission-driven, community-focused organization. You will also have access to integrated, on-site resources-including dental, vision, recovery services, laboratory, and radiology-enabling a coordinated, team-based approach to patient care.
What You'll Do Provide Primary Care medical services to adult patients (18+) at approved health center sites in accordance with the usual and customary appointment schedule.
Examine, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, with an emphasis on chronic disease management and prevention.
Perform physical examinations and order appropriate laboratory testing.
Prescribe medication as needed and treat and follow a patient's course of illness.
Treat wounds, lacerations and minor trauma.
Diagnose and treat medical problems.
Engage in preventative medicine techniques such as vaccinations and annual examinations.
Provide patient-centered education on chronic disease management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence.
Engage in behavioral health integration and refer to on-site services including BHUCS as appropriate.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurse practitioners, RNs, MAs, and support staff.

What You'll Bring:
Educational Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Adult-focused practice)
Current unrestricted MD license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Valid Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR) and DEA certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
ECFMG certification (if applicable for international medical graduates)
Completion of an accredited U.S.-based residency program
Experience Requirements
Experience in adult primary care or internal medicine preferred, especially in community health or FQHC settings
Ability to use data to evaluate outcomes required
Working knowledge and experience with electronic medical record systems, performance dashboards, database products, and analysis tools
Must have the ability to lead change in an organization and possess excellent interpersonal, communication and teaching skills
Bilingual Spanish language skills highly preferred
Experience using Epic or similar electronic medical records systems
Salary:
Full-Time (40 hours/week): $231,500 - $282,197.21 annually, based on years of experience at the licensure level.
