Assistant/Associate Professor - Endocrinology (MD/DO)

Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level within the Division of Endocrinology, Department of Internal Medicine.
We seek an outstanding endocrinologist who is committed to excellence in clinical care, medical education, mentorship, and academic scholarship . The successful candidate will provide comprehensive endocrinology services, educate future physicians, and contribute to clinical and/or translational research initiatives.
This position includes clinical responsibilities at the Grady Health System , a nationally recognized public academic healthcare system and a major teaching partner of MSM.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient endocrinology care, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, osteoporosis, and other metabolic conditions.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare learners.
- Participate in clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and advancement of medical education.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and advance academic medicine.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, teaching, mentorship, and academic excellence.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional advanced degree (MPH, MS, PhD, or related field).
- Experience in academic medicine, clinical research, medical education, or quality improvement.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
