Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
13-week contract with options to extendSchedule consists of four 10-hour shifts or three 12-13 hour shifts per week, plus one rotating Saturday per month with no call requiredWeekly availability is required; rotation of weeks on/weeks off is not preferredAll time off requests must be submitted upfront and approved prior to acceptance; time off exceeding 5 consecutive days will not be approved during summer monthsPatient population ranges from adolescents (age 13) through end of lifeLevel 1 trauma center supporting a large anesthesia team including CRNAs, attending anesthesiologists, and anesthesia residentsAnesthesia team covers main operating rooms, offsite anesthesia locations, outpatient surgery ORs, and GI center roomsPractice settings include inpatient and outpatient environments with options to work in the main OR, outpatient surgery center, and endoscopy centerEMR system is Epic (preferred experience)Hospital bed size is 600 bedsCases will not include open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, or performing peripheral nerve blocksAll CRNA scopes of practice are requiredMinimum of 2 years of experience required; academic background and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferredOutpatient-only candidates will be considered, but recent inpatient experience is preferredBoard certification is required along with a Virginia state licenseACLS and BLS certifications must be valid and completed through the AHAMust reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be consideredTwo professional references or contact information for two references must be provided at time of submittalIf provider has any prior affiliation with the facility (work, school, or other), this must be disclosed in the presentationFacility:
