Locums - Iron Mountain, Michigan Hematology/Oncology Opportunity
Clinical Role
Join an established oncology practice in Iron Mountain, Michigan, providing comprehensive hematology and oncology care in an outpatient setting. This locums opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities while ensuring uninterrupted access to cancer care during physician absences. Additional intermittent coverage opportunities are anticipated throughout the year.

Additional sporadic coverage weeks available as needed.
Coverage Requirements:
Full-time weekday coverage
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Overtime applies after a 9-hour workday.
Call Schedule:
No call required

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:
Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic
Patient Volume:
Approximately 14 patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients
- Develop and manage treatment plans
- Provide follow-up care for established patients
- Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary oncology teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation within Cerner

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology - Required
- Hematology/Oncology Fellowship - Required
- Active Michigan Medical License - Preferred
- BLS Certification - Required
- ACLS Certification - Required
- ATLS Certification - Required
