Locum Physician - Radiation Oncology

Join a premier healthcare facility located in Greenville, South Carolina, known for its commitment to excellence in patient care. The St. Francis Cancer Center is currently seeking a locum physician specializing in Radiation Oncology to provide coverage starting October 1, 2026. This opportunity offers a supportive outpatient setting with a focus on adult patient care, equipped with state-of-the-art technology including linear accelerators, and a dedicated team of clinical and support staff.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide outpatient Radiation Oncology services on a Monday-Wednesday schedule from 7 am - 4 pm.
  • Participate in tumor board meetings for owned patients.
  • Utilize Varian equipment for treatment.
  • Handle an average patient load of 10-15 per day, with adjustments on treatment visit days.
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical assistant staff for comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information using ARIA for treatment and EPIC for clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certification in Radiation Oncology (required)
  • Active South Carolina medical license (preferred)
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Recent Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of presentation date, required)
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
  • BLS Certification
  • Active South Carolina Medical License (preferred)
