Bronx, New York - Associate Medical Director, Psychiatry
Clinical Role:- Seeking a board certified psychiatrist
- Permanent, full-time employed position
- Associate Medical Director opportunity with a blend of clinical care and leadership responsibilities
- Build and expand an integrated behavioral health program serving:
- Homebound patients
- Assisted living residents
- Patients with dementia and cognitive impairment
- Patients with complex psychiatric and medical comorbidities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment through outpatient clinics, telehealth, home visits, and facility-based care
- Develop evidence-based behavioral health programs integrated with primary care and long-term care
- Establish clinical protocols and treatment pathways for medically complex behavioral health patients
- Supervise and mentor Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioners and other behavioral health providers
- Lead interdisciplinary case review meetings and support treatment planning
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, social workers, care management teams, and family caregivers
- Help develop scalable workflows, documentation processes, and behavioral health integration initiatives
- Participate in program development including Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), Behavioral Health Integration, and tele-behavioral health services
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- No inpatient responsibilities

Requirements:- MD or DO
- Board Certified Psychiatry
- Active New York license or ability to obtain
- Experience treating adults with complex psychiatric and medical conditions
- Experience supervising behavioral health clinicians preferred
- Strong interest in integrated behavioral health and value-based care

Compensation & Benefits:- Competitive compensation package - $240,000-$260,000+
