Facility:This cancer center is a well-established, outpatient/hospital-based oncology facility equipped with on-site linear accelerators and a comprehensive support team including RNs, medical assistants, physics, dosimetry, and therapists. The center utilizes ARIA for treatment documentation and EPIC for clinical documentation, providing a fully integrated and modern clinical environment.
Opportunity:Board Certified - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:- Locum coverage needed October 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027
- Schedule: Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- 2-3 days per week with holiday coverage required
- No call requirements
- 100% outpatient setting serving an adult patient population
- Average of 10-15 patients per day, with variation on On Treatment Visit days
- Familiarity with Varian equipment is ideal
- Tumor board participation required for owned patients
- EMR: ARIA for treatment documentation and EPIC for clinical documentation
- On-site linear accelerators at the Cancer Center clinic
- Clinic support includes RN and MA, with physics, dosimetry, and therapists on site
- Active South Carolina license preferred; Board Certification and BLS required
- NPDB Self-Query report must be dated within 30 days of presentation date
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
- Approved travel reimbursements include airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate
