Medix has been tasked with identifying an Occupational Health Physician to assume total operation oversight responsibility for a major plant health center. This multi-faceted role combines direct clinical care, personnel management, corporate compliance tracking, and direct integration with local HR, Safety, and Labor business partners.
Essential Responsibilities: Managing the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses.
Providing higher-level medical determinations for medical surveillance, qualification exams, and Fitness-For-Duty (FFD) exams.
Leading the site Emergency Response and First Responder programs, including planning annual mock runs and debriefing teams.
Overseeing plant floor walkthroughs to analyze ergonomic placement and participating in monthly safety/labor compliance reviews.
Managing, coaching, and mentoring the on-site medical and nursing team, supervising timekeeping, and conducting direct-report performance evaluations.
