Radiation Oncology Faculty - Vanderbilt University Medical Center
Join the physician-led faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center at our radiation oncology satellite clinics in Clarksville & Spring Hill, TN.
- Live in or near Nashville with less than 45-minute commute
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Weekly call shared with group of 6, primarily phone, rarely on-site
- 90% clinical, 10% academic
- Base salary + productivity incentive (no cap) + academic bonus
- $20,000 commencement bonus Up to $15,000 relocation

Last year, our radiation oncology faculty treated over 3,700 patients and completed more than 84,000 procedures across Middle Tennessee.
Position Highlights
- 3 days per week in Clarksville (busy, multi-provider environment) and 2 days per week in Spring Hill (a more peaceful, autonomous pace). Current faculty describe this variation as one of their favorite aspects of the role.
- Work alongside a collaborative group of 5 radiation oncology physicians who rotate across 5 satellite locations, with a close-knit team culture and near-perfect employee satisfaction scores.
- Cutting edge technology: upgraded TrueBeam systems at both locations and direct access to Adaptive Radiotherapy, SBRT, SRS, IMRT, and brachytherapy using Aria software and Epic EMR w/integrated AI scribe.
- Seamless Integration: Fully integrated physics, dosimetry, and departmental chart rounds, ensuring you have the full support of the main Nashville campus readily available.
- Light call: rotating 1:6 call primarily via phone, rarely requiring physical presence on-site, shared among the satellite clinic physician group.
- Academic faculty appointment at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine with opportunities for research for candidates with interest.

Qualifications
- MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology
