Seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join an established inpatient behavioral health team in southeastern Alabama within a large regional referral hospital system providing comprehensive adult psychiatric care in a multidisciplinary setting.
Practice Highlights: - Inpatient psychiatry only
- Collaborative team model with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, counselors, and social workers
- Structured staffing model: 4 psychiatrists across 2 teams (2 per team)
- Block schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off
- Shared after-hours call during each rotation
- Dedicated programs for intensive treatment and mood & anxiety disorders
- 25+bed behavioral health unit
- Internal Medicine Hospitalist group manages medical care of Psychiatric inpatients
- Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
