Job Description: A high-growth, AI-led technology company is looking to hire a Commercial Counsel to support its next phase of global expansion.
This is an opportunity to join a technically sophisticated, product-led business working with large enterprise customers, where legal plays a key role in enabling commercial growth and innovation.
You will operate as a true generalist, supporting across:
Commercial contracting (enterprise SaaS agreements, MSAs, DPAs)
Data privacy and emerging AI regulation
IP strategy and technology licensing
Employment and broader corporate matters
Legal ops and building scalable processes
This is a broad, high-impact position within a lean legal function, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape how legal supports the business as it scales internationally.
Candidate profile:
5-8+ years' experience with a combination of private practice and in-house exposure
Strong commercial contracting background within SaaS or technology
Working knowledge of GDPR (and ideally CCPA), with an interest in AI regulation
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Motivated by building processes and working closely with product and commercial teams
