Step into a fast-paced Cardiac Telemetry Unit where teamwork, collaboration, and compassionate care are at the heart of everything we do. Our Cardiac Telemetry team provides specialized care for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions who require continuous cardiac monitoring and expert nursing care. This unit offers nurses the opportunity to strengthen their cardiac assessment skills, develop advanced clinical judgment, and work alongside a highly skilled interdisciplinary team.

Nurses on this unit care for patients with diagnoses including (but not limited to) chest pain, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, myocardial infarction, post-cardiac procedures, hypertension, and other complex cardiovascular conditions requiring telemetry monitoring. This is an ideal environment for nurses who enjoy caring for higher-acuity patients, building expertise in cardiovascular nursing, and making a meaningful impact on patients throughout their recovery journey.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course, preferred.
  • Experience : One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
What You'll Do:
  • Managing drips such as amiodarone, primacor, and cardizem

  • Monitoring telemetry and recovering post-op cardiac patients

  • Caring for complex heart failure cases

  • Preparing patients for open-heart surgeries
