We're looking for local drivers to join our dedicated team. Drivers will be domiciled on-site at the customer's location in Norcross, GA. Competitive Pay: Cents per mile pay Average 50-60 hours per week Averagemiles per week:1,800 Stop pay:$25 per stop(average 20 stops per week) Additionalpay:Detention and breakdown payavailableif necessary Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with some weekend work Home dailywithevening and overnight routes o Schedule depends on route and location, dispatches range between 6 p.m. until 1 a.m. Local Deliveries and Pickups: Coverage area: Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina Deliver automotive service parts to dealerships Unload rolling cages and loose freight at customer locations during deliveries Scan cages and parts as they unload with a tablet for delivery confirmation and tracking Pick up return parts, claims, and damages as needed from the dealerships and return them back to the Parts Distribution Center Make unattended deliveries during overnight hours with liftgate trailer Loading and unloading are required Equipment and Special Requirements: Drive a daycab truck Doubles/Triples endorsement is required Ready for a change in your Averitt career? - 1 year of full-time verifiable tractor-trailer experience within past 3 years.
- Drivers must have Class A CDL
- No convictions for Reckless Driving within the past 5 years
- No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
- No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
- No serious violations within previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too close, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
- No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No Preventable DOT Recordable accidents within the past 3 years
- No more than 3 Preventable NON-DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
