As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you'll provide rapid assessments, deliver urgent and compassionate care, and partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding outcomes for a diverse patient population. xibtplm
Perform rapid, accurate patient assessments to prioritize care based on acuity and clinical urgency
Administer emergency medications, manage advanced IV lines, and execute life-saving interventions under pressure
Manage the delivery of care for your assigned ED beds in tight collaboration with attending physicians and emergency staff, anticipating discharge or transition needs from the moment of admission
Partner openly with physicians, tech staff, and specialists during multidisciplinary rounds to ensure seamless, timely care
Promote trust and rapport through bedside shift reports, patient education, and compassionate communication that honors the Patient's Bill of Rights
Champion evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives to constantly elevate our care environment
Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nursing Program
Active, unrestricted New York State (NYS) RN License
Excellent clinical judgment, rapid problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to remain calm and effective during medical emergencies
S. work authorization, as well as Canadian citizens eligible for TN Visa status under the USMCA.
