Locums - Greenville, South Carolina CRNA (Float Pool) Opportunity
Clinical Role
- Seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locums float pool opportunity in Greenville, South Carolina.
- Coverage includes the main hospital and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).
- 50-mile radius rule applies - no local candidates.
- Initial contract is 13 weeks with a preference for a 6-month commitment.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: September 14, 2027
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (6-month commitment preferred)
Schedule
- 36- or 40-hour work week
- Will consider:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts
- 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Must be available to work every week (no part-time candidates)
- Must be available to work all 4 weeks each month
Float Pool Coverage
- Rotation to one of three Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs):
- Lexington
- Irmo
- Northeast Columbia
- Expected travel to an ASC up to one day per week, occasionally two days per week.
- If cases finish early at the ASC, providers will return to the main hospital to complete their scheduled shift if needed.

- Approximately 70 CRNAs
- 15 Anesthesiologists
- Medical Direction Care Team model
- Provides anesthesia for:
- General Surgery
- Gynecology
- Orthopedics
- Urology
- Vascular Surgery
Facility Details
- 31 Operating Rooms
- Approximately 25 ORs utilized daily
- 9 Non-OR anesthesia locations including:
- MRI
- CT
- Interventional Radiology
- Cath Lab
- Endoscopy
- OB
- Three Ambulatory Surgery Centers
- Level III Trauma Center
Patient Volume
- Approximately 150 anesthetics per day across Main OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI, and additional procedural areas
Patient Population
- Adults through Geriatrics
- Very limited pediatric cases
- Travelers will not be assigned pediatric cases
Support Staff
- Dedicated anesthesia technicians

Requirements
- NBCRNA Board Certification
- Active South Carolina license required or Compact License
- Will license candidates with a Compact License
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience
- No regional or block experience required
Credentialing
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
