TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations in Smyrna, TN. This is a FLEX assignment with the opportunity to move into a long-term/permanent position.
CDL A Driver Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 06:00-16:00
Pay: $1,100/week- $27 per hour
Route Type: Switching, if driver is available/ flexible, client will have driver also shuttle
Freight / Load Type: General Freight
Handling: No-touch
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
License: CDL A
Experience: 1+ years of switching experience is REQUIRED
Electronic logging device experience required
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
Safely operate equipment Local routes
Transport Freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
