This urgent care center is a fast-paced, community-focused healthcare facility dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. The center operates with a supportive team including a Center Manager, Medical Assistants, Patient Service Associates, and an offsite Supervising Physician for APP providers, ensuring a well-structured and collaborative work environment.

Job Details:
  • Provider must be local and already reside in the immediate Salisbury, NC area - travel and lodging are not provided
  • Must have an active NC license and an active NC DEA
  • Board certification required - BC/NCCPA/NP Boards; BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience required; new graduates will not be considered
  • Must have experience treating both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older)
  • Provider will function as the sole provider in the center and must be able to manage high patient volumes (up to 60 patients per day; average of 45 at this site)
  • Up to 40 patient encounters per shift
  • Must possess strong soft skills for one-on-one interactions with support staff and patients
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required; modified training will be provided and is mandatory
  • Training occurs on set Wednesdays and provider MUST be able to participate prior to being scheduled for shifts
  • Clinical screening/interview required before onboarding; provider must pass before moving forward
  • Scope of practice includes urgent care for adults and pediatrics, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures
  • No call requirements; supervising physician provided offsite for locum APPs
  • Credentialing timeframe is approximately 20 days; agency credentialing accepted with HCO processing Medicare Enrollment only
  • Licensed in NC only; IMLC not applicable
  • Position is ASAP through ongoing

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
