Job Title: Employment Litigation Associate (single-plaintiff FEHA cases)

Location: California - Remote or Hybrid, but must be local to Los Angeles for onsite meetings, court appearances, etc.

Compensation: Base salary of $130,000.00 - $190,000.00 (commensurate with experience, targeting 1-5 years of experience), Plus BonusBilling / hours: 1900

Position Overview: The Am100 law firm, a prominent California-based practice, seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its employment law team. This position focuses primarily on managing single-plaintiff cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment litigation and exceptional writing skills.Key Responsibilities

Manage single-plaintiff FEHA cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
Conduct thorough legal research and produce high-quality written deliverables.
Represent the law firm's clients primarily in state court, with some federal court involvement.
Address occasional wage and hour issues related to FEHA cases.
Communicate effectively with the law firm's clients and opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
Qualifications:

Active California Bar license required.
1-5 years of experience in employment litigation, with a focus on FEHA cases.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong academic credentials.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaboration with the law firm's team.
Familiarity with federal employment laws is advantageous but not required.
