This role performs duties in the fabrication shop related to all elements of steel fabrication and welding. Duties primarily involve welding processes but also include operating basic hand tools, component assembly, operating metal fabrication equipment including saws, drills, and grinders that are associated with structural steel fabrication.
This role will also include but is not limited to:
Cutting and detailing steel for fabrication
Welding and fabricating per company policies and standards
Performing all aspects of tank manufacturing
Preparing and painting of materials
Completing all required paperwork in a timely manner including timecards and inventory lists.
Maintaining a clean and organized working area.
Operating a forklift when material handler is not available.
Following company safety rules and policies.
