What You'll Do:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You'll read and interpret blueprints, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure all work meets safety codes and client expectations. You'll also play a key role in mentoring apprentices and representing ECI on the job.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Being dependable and able to work independently while staying aligned with project goals.
Driving to job sites and performing electrical assessments.
Installing, repairing, and maintaining wiring, lighting, panels, and electrical systems.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
Using proper tools, materials, and techniques for each job.
Evaluating site conditions to determine the best installation or repair method.
Performing inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Communicating clearly with customers and answering technical questions.
Leading or mentoring apprentices when needed.
Following OSHA regulations, NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
Maintaining tools, equipment, and materials with care.
Staying on schedule and documenting work clearly.

What We're Looking For:
Current Utah Journeyman Electrician License (required)
4+ years of hands-on electrical experience
Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality work
Schedule:
Full-time
Monday to Friday
10-hour shifts
Occasional overtime as needed
