Job Title:Electrical Helper/Wiremen
Location: Colonial Heights, VA 23834
Shift: 2nd Shift (1:00 PM - 9:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $ 14.00 - $ 18.00 HR (DOE)
Duration: 6 months (Possibility of extensions)
Key Responsibilities: -
- Read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Assemble electrical control panels and components for production equipment.
- Install electrical enclosures, cabinets, and electrical devices.
- Route and secure wiring, cables, and conduit according to UL471, NEMA, and NEC standards.
- Crimp wire terminals and connect wiring to electrical components.
- Label completed wiring and ensure proper identification.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.
- Create and maintain documentation related to controller assembly.
- Work closely with engineering teams on new and special product builds.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train team members as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policies.
Qualifications: -
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Experience using basic electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools used in electrical assembly.
- Previous electrical assembly or electrical work experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
