TransForce is seeking a CDL A regional driver to support local operations based in Hermitage, PA.
About the Position
This role involves operating a tanker to haul catalyst chemicals to various facilities, including some government locations. The driver will be responsible for unloading the tanker using an air-compressed hose or pump.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday with a 4 AM start time. Some home time throughout the week and home on the weekends.
- Pay: $0.77 per mile, $33 on duty not driving, $30 per diem on nights out.
Job Details
- Route Type: Regional, running Monday through Friday with some overnights.
- Freight Type: Chemicals.
- Equipment: Tractor with Tanker, all 2023 and up automatics equipped with refrigerators.
- Handling: Driver will unload tanker with air-compressed hose or pump. No pets or rider policies.
- Operating Radius: 250-500 miles.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment.
- Unload tanker using pump/hose.
- Complete all paperwork, reports, and other documentation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Must possess a TWIC card and X endorsement.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
