The Role:
Paralegal
We want a team member who takes ownership, communicates proactively, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. This role sits at the intersection of legal support and business operations - you'll get exposure to commercial contract work, not just administrative tasks.
The Work:
You'll work closely with our in-house attorney on:
Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents
Learning to spot and flag risk issues in contracts as you're trained - no prior specialized knowledge required, just sharp attention to detail and willingness to learn
Managing document version control, redlines, and signature workflows
Tracking deadlines
Conducting legal research to support drafting both internal and external documents
Communicating directly with clients and vendors - scheduling, gathering information, and following up as needed
Organizing and maintaining our contract files
The Requirements:
1-2 years paralegal or legal assistant experience
Clear, proactive written communicator
Strong with Microsoft Office (especially Word - track changes and formatting fluency are important skills for this position) and legal research tools (LexisNexis, etc.)
Comfortable working independently with minimal insight after training
Fast learner, detail-obsessed, reliable
Willing to flex on hours occasionally to meet deadlines
Experience in a tech company or sales organization is a big plus but not required.
The Details:
15-20 hours/week
Fully remote
Flexible schedule within normal business hours
Hourly pay, commensurate with experience
