CNC Machinist

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Phoenix, AZ. • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in proper operating condition.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, and team members to meet production goals and delivery schedules.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or CNC certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment and performing quality inspections.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with multi-axis machining or programming is a plus.

• Competitive hourly wage of $32.00$38.00 per hour, depending on experience.
