About All Tire & Service
All Tire & Service is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join its busy Staten Island, NY location.
The 6-bay shop services approximately 850 vehicles each month, creating a steady flow of work across Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. You'll take the lead on difficult diagnostic concerns while helping resolve technical bottlenecks and supporting less-experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and check engine light concerns
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
Service Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
Resolve challenging vehicle concerns to help maintain efficient workflow
Mentor less-experienced technicians with technical guidance
Collaborate with Service Advisors and management to keep repairs moving
Utilize Tire Shop/Freedom SMS, Steer CRM, AutoOps, and other shop technology

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of professional automotive technician experience
Advanced automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Strong drivability and electrical diagnostic experience
Strong scan tool knowledge
Experience servicing Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
Ability to mentor and provide technical support to less-experienced technicians
New York State Inspector License preferred
